Tom Monaghan surprises again
Saturday, September 1st, 2007His university's sports nickname? Gyrenes. What is a gyrene? It's another word for Marine. But what does Marine have to do with a Catholic university? Well, see, Ave Maria University is a Monaghan University, not a Catholic university.
